Today, three ducks flew into the back garden.
One female and two male ducks.
They settled on the lawn in the rain.
Then the female duck laid an egg, a beautiful pale egg, in the middle of the grass.
Just one egg.
Today, being Easter Day.
After while, all the ducks flew away.
Some minutes later, a magpie arrived, and broke into the egg.
Within the hour, the whole egg was gone.
